In NY it sometimes really is difficult to know when a celebrity will actually appear due to the numerous sources saying different things. Promoters sending out mass texts and emails (ironic coming from me I know:), tweets, facebook status updates, but who should you believe? Honestly I dont know because there are times even publicists tell me when a celeb is showing and it doesnt happen. And on that note Rihanna is in NY this week. Lets see what happens Im not naming anything yet.

Thursday @ Tenjune a new artist called “DEV” did a performance of her song “Like a G6″ it was amazing (Music Group FAR EAST ENTERTAINMENT is featured on the track). The song was literally downloaded onto my IPOD as soon as I got home @ 415am. Anyways DJ JACOMO was on set and he literally killed it. Every table was on their toes screaming and clapping. He mainly played house music which I dont prefer but for some reason this was possibly one of my best and most fun nights @ Tenjune. He made it happen.

I am quite excited for the new nightclubs soon to be opened in NYC. The 1Oak team will be opening their new space on 14 street and 8th avenue. The Strategic Group will be opening up a new LAVO uptown near TAO I have been told-quite excited for this especially because anything Noah lays his hands on is a success. Can you see a new nightclub district brewing uptown UPPER EAST SIDE? YES LAVO will be it guys.

I was on 17 street and 10th avenue Wednesday night and 3 cadillac escalades pulled up and one black van and the BLACK EYED PEAS popped out and walked through a back door into a night club. I believe they had a concert in New York just before. Didnt hear anything else about them and didnt see them @ 1Oak; why is it FERGIE never is out with the rest of them does anyone know?

When you go to the door of a club and you ask for a promoter and the door person/staff tells you “tell him (promoter X) to come out and get you” that basically means that in the door person’s mind they are thinking “at this moment in time I dont want to let you in but I want to keep your hopes up for as long as possible until your promoter actually comes out and then I will secretly tell him NO your not coming in.” This happens a lot my friends so when you hear a doorperson say that take the hint and save the embarrassment, drop the short/fat/ugly girls or shred the extra dudes you dont really know or be willing to pay cover or do bottle service. YES this is very superficial, NO it doesnt reflect MY personality YES you are going to the door of a venue that encourages us to be superficial and YES this is part of life.

One club where they really take the “guest-list” seriously is @ Provocateur. I have seen tall models approach the door with zero guys and the female door people say the party is guest list only. I will try to figure out the process over there. This creates some mystery as to what they value inside? Are they willing to trump BEAUTY for FRIENDSHIP?

a-ha’s farewell tour started in New York last week, and the trio filled up the Nokia Theatre 3 days in a row. Morten, Magne and Paal are still rockin’ it out – although they are pushing 50. They looked even a bit cooler now – than they did back in the days.

The concert started out with a few new songs – and then it was building up backwards – back to the golden 80s. We want more! We want more!

Ethan was promoting his new movie Daybreakers this week when I met him at the Ace Hotel here in Manhattan. In the movie the cute 39-year old plays a vampire that wants to help the last humans on the planet. Yeah, he is one of the few vampires with a good heart. Ah, and so cute. Anyway, it was quite funny when a Danish black girl asked him a question. He obviously never met a black Scandinavian before…

- In your real life if you have some sort of trouble do you go to therapy?
- Oh, you mean like Jane goes to her therapist? Life gave me two great sisters-in-law. I have two brothers. I have no sisters but I have two great sisters-in-law who are like my sisters. So I go to them when I have a problem. I have girlfriends from college that I’m very close to and that I see every year, twice a year and I usually travel with. We go and have some horrible retreat and self-analyze each other. It sounds awful but it’s great.

- Have you thought about directing yourself?
- No, no. Too much. I have never thought about it because it takes too much time. It doesn’t stop at six o’clock. You like to go out and have dinner and go to theater. I like to have a life. A director has no life.

Since it was recently announced that Baldwin is hosting the Oscars this year. Let’s talk Academy Awards.

- How did that idea with you and Steve Martin hosting the awards together come about?

- I don’t know how they arrived at that, but I know that I went to the Women in Film, the Women in Hollywood dinner about a month or so ago, a little bit more. That used to be hosted by ‘Premiere’ Magazine and now it’s ‘Elle’ Magazine that’s the sponsor of this. They asked me to do this because I have friends at ‘Elle’ magazine. They asked me to do this event and I was surprised at the women that showed up there. They had these incredible women. Robin Wright [Penn] and Julianne Moore and they had these fabulous women there. I was the host. Carol Burnett gave an award to Julie Andrews and when she was there she pointed to me and said, ‘He should host The Oscars.’ One of the men who’s a producer of The Oscars was in the audience. I think that was the beginning of the planting of that idea and then two weeks later they called me and asked me to do it with Steve. But I’m grateful I’m doing it with Steve.

- Why is that?

- Well, he’s done it twice before and I think that The Oscars…even if I wasn’t doing it I’m glad he’s doing it because The Oscars need to be funny, maybe. Or they need to have some kind of entertainment value because it is a television show for three hours that you’re showing to people but it also has to be distinguished because it is the most significant honor in the motion picture business. You have to always remember that you play to the television audience in one way but in the room it’s very different because for many of the people in that room, some of them their lives are going to change that night. Many people think that Kathryn Bigelow might get nominated for an Oscar for the movie ‘Hurt Locker’.

- You think an Oscar can change a life?

- Well, just to finish this thought, Kathryn Bigelow might get nominated and if she wins she’d be the first woman to ever win an Academy Award as a director ever. No woman has ever won an Oscar as best director, ever. So there’s a lot of interesting possibility to this year. They have the ten different films as Best Picture. They’ve expanded that category. They have two hosts for the first time. I don’t know if they’ve ever had two hosts or it’s been a while. [Hugh] Jackman was alone last year. But they did it with two hosts many years ago. I’m forgetting who. Jack Benny and somebody. It was many, many years ago, in the old days. But do I think that Oscars change people’s lives? Of course they do. My God, are you kidding me, especially if you deserve it.

- Of all the films that you’ve seen this year which ones are you tipping for Oscar success?

- I’m not allowed to discuss that.

- I am your friend. I won’t tell.

- They’ve been very, very clear with us about that one.

- Are you aware of what’s going on for the show?
- We just had our first meeting the other day. We just had our first meeting, Steve and I, with the producers and we talked about some ideas. In the Oscar broadcast it’s about thirty five minutes of stuff like that, musical numbers, comedy and then the remainder of the program is advertising and awards. It’s only thirty five minutes of programming that we could do with us or other people onstage performing any kind of material. Then the remaining time is advertising and ceremony. So we know that we have to do a half hour show, so to speak. Then of course they have the greatest writers. They’ve hired so many writers, great writers. They took some writers from the show that I’m doing now, two writers from ’30 Rock’ came in to help and we already have some pretty funny idea.

Hillary was beautiful in real life. I have to say that I was also surprised with how genuine and sympathetic she was. It’s rare that big stars like her are so honest and so reflected about life. And that they actually want to share some private moments with the press.

How is the media in Elin’s home country covering the Tiger Woods scandal? By calling for its native daughter to “swing it again.” Katarina Andersson on why the sex scandal is enraging the Swedes.

Even in Sweden, a country known for its liberal views on sex, the Tiger Woods scandal is generating an enormous amount of attention. Swedes, of course, have their own player in the drama: the beautiful, Greta Garbo-cool, Stockholm-born Elin Nordegren, Woods’ wronged wife. The outpouring of Elin support in the Swedish media has been massive, with Swedes rallying behind their girl just as loudly as they’d cheer for the national soccer team in a World Championship match.

“Swing it again, Elin!” wrote Jan Helin, editor in chief of Aftonbladet, the country’s biggest newspaper, on his personal blog. One of the paper’s top reporters, Ann Söderlund, proclaimed, “Thank God for girls like Elin. Next time, I hope she uses a bigger club.”

Britta Svensson, a well-known columnist at the tabloid Expressen and a former U.S.-based correspondent, commented, “Our Swedish hearts are overwhelmed with pride, because our very own Elin didn’t take any s—. Just like a tough Swedish girl shouldn’t. Elin is our heroine.”

Inside Tiger’s Double Life There’s been an equal torrent of anger toward Tiger himself. Lasse Anrell, a star columnist at Aftonbladet, says that Tiger should at least be man enough to use the correct words for what he’s done. “’Transgressions’, ‘infidelity’ and ‘hiatus’ are not good enough,” wrote Anrell. “I have a suggestion for him. Here’s a word that he should add to his vocabulary: ‘sex addict.’ That’s S-E-X-A-D-D-I-C-T, Tiger.” Anrell went on to advise Woods to get a copy of Woman of a Casanova, a recently published Swedish book about sex addiction, suggesting that perhaps his mother-in-law could read it out loud to him.

Considering that Sweden is a peaceful country—it has been more than 200 years since the nation has been involved in a war—this sudden support for domestic violence comes off as a bit odd. Then again, the culture of child-rearing in Sweden makes sure that girls have a strong sense of self. “Swedish women like Elin are brought up to be independent and strong,” explains Karin Magnusson, the op-ed editor for Aftonbladet, “and you can only stand for just so much humiliation. We’re excited about this. We’re hoping Elin will file for divorce and show Tiger—and the world—what Swedish women stand for.”

Commentators also think that the fact that Tiger has reportedly increased the payout in his prenup, offering Elin millions more if she stays with him for two more years, is thoroughly repugnant. In Sweden, when a couple divorce, things are split 50-50—prenups and divorce lawyers are almost unheard of. “We don’t connect love with money,” says columnist Britta Svensson. “The new prenup agreement makes Tiger come off as a fake person, almost mean. Does he really think she’d stay because he is showing her the money?”

Whether or not Elin Nordegren is going to ditch her husband remains to be seen. There are rumors that Elin has already taken off her wedding band and might be on her way to Sweden right now. Or maybe she’s already there. A private plane, co-owned by Woods’ company ETW, was spotted landing at a small Swedish airport this morning, the pilot explaining that he was there for some kind of “pick up” later this week. Swedish media also reported that the lights were on in the Woods’ family apartment in Stockholm late last night.

What the Swedes definitely don’t want is for Elin to revert to celebrity martyr behavior like Posh Spice did when she and Becks were having problems or as they feel Hillary Clinton did when she chose to stand by her man.

“It would be very surprising if Elin decided to stay with Tiger in the current situation,” says Karin Magnusson, “or to do something like grant an interview to Oprah. If that winds up being the case, she has become too American.”

The polo match on Governors Island this Saturday was filled with hats, champagne and people showing off. Everyone was there to see HRH Prince Henry of Wales play for the Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic. For the rich the tickets were 500 dollars – but for the public it was free. We got the best of both worlds:

By the way – this year, more of Governors Island will be open to the public than ever before. For the first time ever, visitors can walk and bike around the entire 2.2 mile promenade, experiencing never before seen views of New York Harbor. Additionally, a new eight acre picnic area, called Picnic Point, is open to the public for the first time. Picnic Point is located on the Island’s southwestern corner, and features the stunning backdrop of the Statue of Liberty.

OK, the picture above doesn’t show that Woody was that excited to meet me… but who cares. I love Mr Allen, and earlier today the director and writer was giving interviews at Lowel Regency Hotel here in Manhattan. To be honest I had no idea what to expect. A genius like him could either be nice and polite, moody and sarcastic or just arrogant. I had no idea. But – oh my God was I in for a treat. Woody Allen was one of the sweetest, most polite, reserved, calm and collected people that I have met in a very long time.

In his new movie “WHATEVER WORKS”, that is showing at Tribeca Film Festival this week, Woody portrays yet another bunch of neurotic New Yorkers. But this time they are mixed with some naive and shallow folks from Mississippi.

Larry David’s old and grumpy character, and self proclaimed genius, is (of course) getting sexually involved with a naive and young girl played by Evan Rachel Wood’s. But there is an interesting twist though. (You’ll have to see the movie to find out.)

It seems like Woody’s thoughts about life in general have some kind of similarity to the pessimistic main character in his movie:

As we know, Johnny Depp avoids the spotlight more than most Hollywood stars. Either he is in France, on his Caribbean island or on set of a movie. I asked him where he would go if he could walk wherever he wanted without being noticed. This is his answer:

He even took time to chat with us and shake hands after the interview. I have never seen anyone be so relaxed and at the same time so friendly as Johnny was. He tried to answer the questions as good as he could while he was cracking some jokes, saying he is a sucker for humor, and that he tries to put a funny line into his movies whenever he gets the chance.

I met with Jack Black (JB) and Michael Cera (MC) at the Ritz Carlton in NYC this weekend. We talked about his babies, his relationship with God – and of course his new, toned body.

Q: Do you have a cold Jack?

JB: Yeah, I have a little bit of a cold

Q: If you have that too often, you’ll be on the toilet

JB: Coldeez? (lozengers)

Q: Yeah

JB: The zinc? I heard the same thing about the “Golden Seal” that it’s a laxative.

Q: Have some Echinacea

JB: I had some Echinacea but it didn’t have “Golden Seal” in it, because apparently someone told the person who is going to get it, that “you don’t want to a Golden Seal, it’s a laxative” I was like “Maybe I want a laxative!”

MC: I want a relaxative!

Q: Do you think there’s a message in the movie? We just had a big argument with David Cross (actor)

MC: A big argument?

Q: I guess more of a discussion

MC: (laughs)

Q: Because we were asking if it was possible that this movie could upset the super right wing people that don’t believe in Darwin. They kill doctors who perform abortions – so anything is possible.

JB: Yeah, I don’t know, I was reading a little, a little, what’s his name? Vas Speg Zadustra?

MC: Yeah, Neitzsche?

JB: Yeah, on the plane on the way over, okay not reading, listening to the book on tape, the biography of Nietzsche, and he was saying that the Bible was really the product of slave morality. It was a document written by slaves and that it reflects, and that it’s not entirely healthy ground for morality. He’s saying that there’s two kinds of morality, the slave morality and the master morality, and the master morality also is not entirely healthy and that there needs to be a new morality created by the Superman, so that’s what I’m gonna do, look at me I’m a superman!

Q: All people were slaves because they believe in God, if you believed in someone to conduct you, it meant you are a slave

JB: Yeah, right, heavy man. I was wrong about this room. It’s really heavy

Q: You were saying that the Tenacious D movie didn’t work well, so why do you think that is? Was it the marketing? Was it the movie?

JB: No the movie was, I think, I’m very proud of the movie, I stand by it, it might have been my due to my hair in the movie. It was bad

Q: Cause in this one it looked better

JB: My hair was long, but short on here and I think it was distracting, and I subconsciously turned people off to the movie, also, me and Kyle are heavy actors and I think we might have been just a little too heavy, we should have done a little exercise because I think people subconsciously don’t like fat people

Q: Really? So that’s why it didn’t do well

JB: We were victims of fatism

Q: Have you lost weight since?

JB: Oh yeah, I haven’t lost weight, but I’ve gained muscle, so if I step on a scale it’s gonna say the same thing, but if I take off my clothes, you will see a tremendous difference in my physique, it’s almost all muscle. It’s all about the inches, not about the weight, not about the numbers, I’m one big muscle

Q: So are you wearing your skinny jeans?

JB: No, but they’re falling off, I need to go and get a belt

Q: People like to watch fat people because they feel bad about themselves

JB: Yeah, its true…

Q: Michael, You’ve hit your love interest in this movie, what’s your flirting style in real life?

MC: I don’t really have a flirting style, I just. I just stay away from danger and trouble

Q: You don’t like dangerous women then?

MC: No, no, I just don’t like danger in general, unless I think I can handle it

Q: So what kinds of things can you handle, what kind of danger, you mean with guns?

MC: Oh my gosh, well, yeah, I mean, danger in general, danger in general is something I try to avoid, and you know, sometimes flirting can lead to danger

Q: Why did you choose to do this movie?

MC: I really liked Jack and I really liked Harold and Judd and the script, and I wanted to talk to all of you guys.

Q: Did you watch any Monty Python films while you preparing for this?

MC: Not preparing for this, but when I was younger I did

Q: Did you?

JB: Yeah, I love Life of Brian. It would have been cool I thought, if we also, in an homage to that film, did like an alien abduction scene, where a spaceship came down, it was my favorite part of Life of Brian, when the spaceship came down for no reason, a total non-sequitor, took Brian around into space and brought him back down and pooped him out, but the whole movie is kind of an homage to that movie, so we didn’t need to do a homage within an homage.

Q: So you have 2 kids know?

JB: Yes, 2 baby boys,

Q: How’s that going?

JB: Very well

Q: Are you getting any sleep

JB: Samuel is very funny, I miss him a lot, I’ve only been gone for two days and I find that I don’t like to be gone even for day, when I miss him, if I don’t see him in the morning or in the night for more than two days, I get very anxious, get back, get back to the nest

Q: So you only miss one of them?

JB: No Tommy, I also miss, but Sammy’s old enough to be conscious of my not being there, Tommy, Tommy loves to see his “dada” but I don’t feel like he needs it as much at this point, he just turned 1.

Q: Do you live in Los Angeles?

JB: I live in Los Angeles, but now we’re in London, We’re in London working on a movie, so yeah, they’re all there,

Q: What are you doing there?

JB: Gulliver’s Travels. But to answer a previous question, I think also, the Tenacious D film was a flop because our trailer was shit, and it’s very important, let me tell you something, let me tell you something about the trailer. The trailer is more important to the success of a film, than the quality of the film itself, it’s more important than the poster. It’s more important than any, all the interviews put together, it’s all about the trailerrrrrrrr, for emphasis, rrrrrrrrr

Q: So they should put all the money in the trailer and not care about the movie?

JB: I don’t want to give away like a powerful secret, but I’m gonna, because it’s not about holding shit in, you want to fucking make a movie? you want to get in this? Go shoot a fucking trailer, go shoot a kickass trailer!

MC: That’s what the Coen brothers did

JB: shoot, you shoot a kickass trailer, you take that to the studio, when you pitch a movie, you say, “Oh, can we just watch this trailer?” Boom. That’s the movie,

MC: Don’t you want to watch that movie?

JB: They will give you the money

MC: That’s true, that’s what the Cohen brothers did with Blood Simple

JB: Boom, they were thinking, they’re smart

Q: You still make the movie? You don’t just make the trailer?

JB: (laughs) No, you do actually have to make the movie. You go to the theater “It’s a two minute movie” (laughs)

Q: It would be an improvement on a lot of films if we just saw the trailer

JB: Yeah, no kidding

Q: So can you tell us a bit about Gulliver’s Travels

JB: Kyle Gass, my partner in Tenacious D, came out to the set of Gulliver’s Travels and he pitched me on a song that he thinks should be in it, and I can’t get it out of my head, it goes something like this: (sings) Gulliver traveled, but he didn’t arrive, and the something something, something, yeah, yeah! Can’t remember the lyrics but it was very funny. It’s going great, we’ve got a great cast of British actors and Jason Siegel and myself, and everyone’s really funny and it’s a retelling, it’s a modern retelling of the classic old tale. So, I’m not 18th century British dude who is on a boat trip and goes. It’s modern day, I’m working at a New York newspaper in a mail room delivering mail and I get an opportunity to get a promotion and write an article for the travel section of this newspaper. They send me out to Bermuda to do a story on Bermuda and I get sucked into the legendary Bermuda triangle. There’s like a rip in the space time, kind of a sci fi twist to the story, and I wake up in another dimension, in this like island of Lillipluth, and I’m tied down, and from there it kind of stays more true to the original Gulliver’s Travels story. It’s great.

Q: You’re making a movie with Michel Gondry?

JB: Michel Gondry. We made a film together I loved it and I’d love to work with him again, but there’s no solid plans, this space and time movie, it’s just sitting there. I think he’s got a lot of other things going on, I’m waiting, I’m waiting for him to come back and say let’s make another movie

Q: What’s your next Michael?

MC: Well I guess the next thing, that I will be in that’s gonna be released is Youth In Revolt and come out at the end of the year directed by Miguel Artetta

Q: What’s it about?

MC: It’s based on a book by C.D. Paine, that’s a really great novel. Yeah, it’s about a character named Nick Twist that I play and him kind of dealing with the people around him.

Q: Have you seen that guy that everyone is comparing you to now from The Hangover?

JB: Oh yeah, Zach Galifianakis.

Q: What do you think of him?

JB: He’s great. I’ve always been a fan of his, I’ve been watching his stand up comedy for years, you know, we live in the same town, he does a lot of, it’s almost like performance art stand up with his piano, at largo, and, I’m glad to see him

Q: Are you worried about people saying “the next Jack Black”

JB: No, I’ve had a good run, time to pass the torch, take it from here Zach

MC: Enjoy being Jack Black

Q: Do you worry that your movie is similar to Life as Brian? Why do another of the same thing?

JB: I don’t think it’s that similar deal with different tales, and that was so long ago, I think it’s time, it’s time for another biblical retelling, it’s been over 20 years since someone really made fun of it

Q: So do you believe in the Old Testament?

JB: Do I believe in it? Do I believe it happened?

Q: Yeah

JB: No,

Q: And you?

MC: How do you mean? Genesis?

Q: Yeah

MC: I guess I never thought about whether it happened or not

JB: Do you believe that God came down and went “I got to make the Earth”

MC: Yes

JB: And then God said, “I’m going to invent night time and day time”

MC: I don’t think he said it like that

JB: And then I invented nighttime. And I saw it was good. It’s clearly written by someone that even that the Earth is round, it’s someone that doesn’t understand that the sun…. you don’t invent daytime and nighttime, it’s just the Earth is turning. It was written by someone who is kind of an idiot. He didn’t know basic stuff, I don’t believe that God, there may be a God, I’m not saying there’s no God, I don’t believe that God spoke to someone and whispered in their ear, “This is what I want you to write, this is my message to the people, the humans of Earth” I don’t believe that. As a document it definitely reads like, “this is written by somebody, this is somebody writing some stuff”

MC: It’s just taking somebody’s word for it I guess

Q: What do you think movies don’t make fun often enough of religion or serious issues?

JB: Does it go far enough you mean? Did we ?

MC: I think it’s good to make fun because people could still believe what they want to believe, but we should at least all be able to laugh about it or else we’re all just gonna start hating each other

Q; I thought we do hate each other?

MC: (laughs) Right, well even more so

Q: Is there going to be a Superbad 2 cause you said in your twitter account?

MC: That’s so funny. I don’t have a twitter account

Q: That’s not you?

MC: No, but people have mentioned it to me, so I guess there’s one pretending to be me.

Q: So it’s not happening?

MC: You’ll have to ask him, I don’t know about it. The first time I ever heard about it was just being interviewed here the other day, someone said, “is there going to be a superbad 2?”

Q: Are you twittering?

JB: No, doesn’t seem like you should be allowed to Twitter under someone else’s name

MC: Who can prove it though? You can kind of do whatever you want on there, it’s on the internet. I wouldn’t believe, I mean anyone who believes anything on the internet I think is being naïve, but yeah, twitter yeah, I don’t want a twitter account, I think, it would just make me feel like the world revolves around me even more so, than I already feel that way

JB: I don’t even understand it

MC: It’s just like you just tell people what you’re doing

JB: You sign up and you want to get twittered, whenever certain people just post

MC: Well maybe I think it’s more about you twittering and just people reading it. You just are meant to feel like people care about you going to buy a taco or something

Q: But then it slows you down…

JB: You’re busy cause I was going to get a taco

Q: No, you’re not getting a taco you’re too busy twittering

MC: That’s true.

JB: And now I don’t have time to get a taco, I ran out of time for my taco

MC: It took me a half hour to write this thing about my taco, and now I have lost time

Q:How are you dealing with the perils of fame?

MC: It’s been good. I have just kind of been dealing with things as they come and not thinking of about things too much, cause you can kind of freak yourself out but everything’s been fine and have been enjoying being able to work, there’s a lot of actors that are not working who would like to be working.

Q: Any dark side?

MC: Yeah there are. Sometimes you have to be exposed to people that aren’t that nice.

After Melissa from The Dixie Dude ranch invited us to go to a real rodeo in Banderas – we were really thrilled. But we had no idea that it would be this crazy.

No cowboys are too young in Texas. These fellows probably shoot faster than their own shadows already…

Waiting for the BIG BULL

Some cowboy’s were very friendly.

We left the rodeo and the ranch thinking that we could never be real cowgirls. And that is really ok.

We arrived at Dixie Dude ranch at lunch time – just in time for a ride. Bianca, who’s only ridden a lot of jack asses in her life, was very excited about being on Popeyes back.

He took her in to the hills in the Texas sun, and taught her a thing or two about trotting. At night the two cowgirls made a lot of new friends – icluding a donkey, 6 kittens, 3 dogs and 14 kids. They also watched the world champion in roping jump up and down on a horse while his 93 year old father was terrorizing the cats (and the kids).

Kjersti was gastronomically challenged by the fried food before sunrise and hid every morning to escape the communal breakfast. She was constantly lectured by the 6 year olds on proper ranch behavior.

Going for a hay ride is a must

Ranch life didn’t start off too good for Kjersti. After an old lady at our table asked her:
“Would you ladies like to join us in prayer – and thank the lord for our food?”
Kjersti replied:
“I am not religious, but I don’t mind watching you”.
DEAD SILENCE. (lady steared at Kjersti like she was satan embodied…)

But then we went horseback riding again – and it was all good.

There is no sign of plastic fantastic at the ranch. Yeah – very authentic.

Staying at Dixie Dude ranch is only 130 dollar per night. That includes accomodation, 3 meals and 2 rides daily. And you can hang out with these studs 24/7 if you like…

We started with a tour of the capital. After breaking all the rules on every sign we decided to go outside and enjoy the 104 degrees again…

Wendy showed us around town and took us to the cool diner Magnolia for some – yes, of course beans, rice and beer.

After sweating our asses off all day, we decided to do some yoga outside – and get 15 new mosquito bites.

Time to eat again. Some real meat!

Bianca is mighty happy.

Bianca stayed happy until she realized that 1.3 million bats live under a bridge in Austin – and that everyone leaves at dawn to go hunting…

So we had to park her.

The bats where everywhere. It was almost like a horror movie.

Next day we went vintage shopping. Jackie almost bought a new hat pet.

We visited one of the coolest vintage stores “Amelias retro vogue and relics” on 2213 s. 1st street. The owner Jane A. Clarke has been running the store for over 20 years.

She had some amazing pieces in her store. Everything from the 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s. Real vintage, in other words.

Time for a swim. At Barton Creek natural pool you can chill, swim and look at hard core hippies spreading their wings and throwing off their bikini tops.

We caught this little pervert spying on us from under the bushes.

Killing some more time between meals… that’s what it’s all about.

Last meal together. Bye bye Jackie -and bye bye Katarina. Now it’s only Bianca and Kjersti left.

We are off to improve our cowboy skills in the tiny city of Bandera – the cowboy capital of the world. Stay tuned…

We checked into the W Downtown and was greeted by a Belvedere party in the lobby. Our timing was impecable. The International Bar and Liquor Convention was in town this weekend. Free tastings, drink parties, and cuuuute bar boys (hi Matti) all over. In addition, Bourbon street was popping with Bastille Day celebrations.

We were in awe for days. Live music pouring out into the street. Southern gentlemen in bowties and sear suckers greeted us in front of Galatoire’s. (Thanks Andrew Stone for inviting us to Lander’s mega mansion pool party uptown.) Seafood in all shapes and boiles, but all in the same cheap price-range pleased our palets. After our Alabama “gourmet” fare this was a tantalizing experience.

Kjersti snapped a gazillion beautiful photos, Katarina did a lot of interviews, Bianca chatted with the entire population, Helena charmed with her European accent [it's daaajkiris - not daiquiries] and Jackie arrived from New York joining the girls.

Gloria Guy got a new house from Brad Pitt. She lives here with her 9 grand children. One of her daughters was killed by Katrina.

This is the tree that saved Gloria and her family. Her son punched a hole in their roof so they could climb out while their house was filling up with water. Then they jumped over to the next house, and managed to climb into this tree. They sat in this tree for almost 10 hours.

Everything got washed away in the area. 18,000 people used to live in the area. Only 1,300 people have been able to return. This is what meets them…

Thanks to Brad Pitt and Mr Williams new houses are beeing build. All of them are different – and all of them are sustainable.

People are still suffering and griefing. Many died in the years following Katrina due to stress.

Sun Pie Barnes is a musician. He left the city a few days before the hurricane hit because of a dream he had. Now he is a park ranger and plays music at night. He thinks it will take 10-15 years until New Orleans will recover from the catastrofe.

We love New Orleans and pray that some of these areas will recover soon. This part of our blog is dedicated to thanking the supporters of these types of projects.

Since we haven´t been partying at all for at least two days, our party bones were aching a bit. Full of anticipation we headed to the biggest casino – Beau Rivalge. But with no passports and no american ID´s we didn´t get in.

We made a few new friends… but not sure if we will stay in touch…

Helena tried her best, with Kjersti as her wingwoman, to convince the brutally stubborn Head of Security. But no. At the end he threatend to call the sherrif if we didn ´t leave. So we decided to call it a day…

Kjersti won 10 cent at a slot machine on our way back. But that’s about it. We are hoping New Orleans will give us more joy. Ciao for now.

After a long drive we showed up at a house we found online. It was midnight, and kind of scary, since the serial killer was still on the loose. It didn´t get less scary when we found out the island´s original name was Massacare Island, after some bloody, hardcore mass execution, which had taken place some 300 years ago.

Our haunted beach house. Bianca was sure she had a ghost in her room. We all felt the beds moving…

In the middle of the night it happened, the beds started moving. No kidding! It was an hellish thunderstorm outside, and the whole house (which was on poles) was wiggleing.

In the morning our host Bill came out with some freshly baked bread for breakfast.

We took a trip to the beach. Then Katarina went fishing, while the other girls went bird (alligator) spotting.

We decided to go bird watching at a lake near by. Instead we met this guy…

Bill and his wife were so kind to prepare the fish for us.

Goodbye Alabama – hello Mississippi!

Last thing we heard before leaving the island was that the serial killer was shoot dead…

The guy at the coffee shop on Tybee Island told us that Jacksonville is a dump – a bit like Detroit, but with a beach. Since it was already 5PM untill we were all set in our Hundai Elantra we decided not to drive too far the first day. Our main goal was Tallahassee, but we had to realize it was not possible, so we ended up in Jacksonville instead. But – wow – were we surprised to find the cutest little mansion with the best beach view and the whitest sand ever…

Before leaving Savannah Kjersti had to get her eye fixed by a doctor. But the detour made us stumble upon this lovely little bakery, with this lovely lady serving us the best chicken sandwiches we had since New York.

When we finally got to Jax beach outside Jacksonville – this was a welcoming site (no serial killer anywhere – pweh).

Looking for the serial killer after breakfast on the patio of the mansion. CNN told us he killed 5 people in North Carolina.


Some were not so lucky. This guy would probably not hang around for very long.


After a swim we had to hit the road again. Good bye, Jacksonville. Hello Alabama.

Next stop – Dauphin Island. (Unless the serial killer finds us first…


Last pit stop before Alabama – the waffle house. There is something strange about the guy coming out of that truck. Hold on – is that a shuffle in his hand? OMG – shit – ruuuuuun!!!! Oh, no – Bianca just tripped -and where is Helena?

Charles works the reception at Howard Johnson. He visited a lot of countries while in the marines, but all he got was this lousy shirt. He was such a southern gentleman that he didn’t bust Bianca stealing towels off the maides trolly – allthough he caught it all on securiy camera. Thanks Charles.

After Katarina and Helena arrived we moved to Ocean Plaza where we were greeted by these festive girls.


Finally all together – on the last hotel bed left on the island. 4 girls in one King – yes, we can!

There was loads of action going on. Activities include: ice cream eating, y’alling to strangers and killing time.

for a new venue open like 2 months that definitely is not a good sign. That’s the thing with all these clubs that open and everyone thinks they are going to last long and be the hottest club forever lol…not the case..the clubs that have been able to survive and still keep a competitive edge are the ones owned by good promoters themselves..for instance marquee noah t and Jason strauss were promoters since 15…and tenjune owned by mark birnbaum and Eugene remm also promoters…and then 1Oak…richie scott and Ronnie all promoters ….the reason I mention this is because all clubs when first opened will have the hype and will attract an extravagant crowd…but when that hype dies down the true power of the promoters following is tested…if the promoter has a strong following of men and women (esp a good looking following lol) the club will survive..I don’t see a good future for griffin..the Sunday party is more fun than the wed.

M2 or Mansion last night hhad some big time Bacardi event…I got @ pink for 1230am and no one was there and mansion was packed because when walking down the staircase area @ entrance of pink elephant there is a doorway that was open (only for staff and security to go through) and I saw into mansion and it was ram packed music was bumping and it seemed like a good party…started since 9pm and went on until 3 am…good all night..so def a good thing…

Rihanna was @ avenue again last night..i guess she is trying to find a new mate? Avenue has seriously on a consistent basis been racking in quality celebs…cannot forget to mention lebron james being there Monday haha but there were also others…fergie ryan leslie rihanna kate Hudson justin timberlake (and oh for some reason timberlake is in town a lot recently don’t know why)…

I actually got a personal viewing of the venue last night…guys when I saw fucking luxurious I mean it…when you first get past the tall wooden door frames there is a long hallway with small tables aligned on the walls…at the end of this room is a bar actually a circular type and behind the bar is a bathroom…also close to entrance when facing the long hallway to the right is a staircase that leads you in two directions…one staircase going behind and above you and this is where the DJ is located but there is one table there and this in my viewpoint is the best table because the entire club is in sight..the other staircase leads to an upper room which has a different vibe…its more of a sit down type of vibe with u shaped leather couches..and old looking chairs from the 16th century lol..I would assume this is where the celebs mostly hung out but after speaking to staff members the room is a total free for all..there are no security guards restricting people from going to any area of the room just as it is @ marquee…all equal human beings ..anyways if I go again I shall let you know more details people..love you all..

Tuesday 16th June

Basically they stopped the bullriding for 30mins …cops came and knew exactly who the gentleman was and left guess he has some serious pull lol…The Jutah (short for Johnny Utah) party was actually quite good..it was full from early which isn’t usual on a rainy night like last night…packed…but I wont lie I am feeling the burn from going out 7 days a week..girls ask me why I am not dancing like crazy and my response is not even in English..i put both my hands up to show 7 fingers meaning 7 days a week being out lol

Went to Greenhouse and it was also ram packed people @ the door got a little hectic…drake the rapper’s manager came to door and told Sammy drake is on the way…his words were “yo so he wont have any waiting right we cant be looking like chumps my brother” I chuckled lol..drake came through easy entry quick walk in @ door…upstairs had a very good and DJ by the name of steve powers a friend of mine is actually managing him so any good djs out there let me know I can put you in touch with her to possibly hook you up…good djs not shitty ones lol…downstairs of greenhouse is actually open on Mondays now…I guess they are trying to run a more exclusive operation downstairs because this is where drake and other high end celebs chilled out last night….RIHANNA was there…she is one of those celebs that goes out but barely ever you know…they have the typical ones that cannot help themselves but go to a club like busta rhymes and lil jon..those mother fuckers are every where and ryan leslie also…anyways so yes you celeb lovers rihanna was there..I wanted to go to butter but I stayed @ greenhouse with a close friend and we were what I like to call people watching…just staring @ girls and seeing their posture seeing how they are when drunk and how they gossip about hot guys and if the promoter has any more alcohol etc and then guys staring at that one hot blonde in the room dancing like a “you know what” human beings are amazing to just observe we should be in a laboratory consistently lol

Tomorrow, wed, mansion or the m2 ultra lounge is having some private event and some celebs supposed to be going I will find out more details for you tomorrow..

Sadly lauren Conrad has bailed out on going to m2 Thursday I am so pissed it would have been such an easy sale for me to bring people there..i guess now I have to rely strictly on text messages and yes for sat it is still on beyonce will be there sat @ m2…I advise everyone go early…all people will have to pay cover of 30 unless a promoter that works there puts you and 1 other person (each promoter only allowed to take 2 guests for free) on the guestlist…other than that tables only…so no comps at all sat night and no freedrinks lol…back to the old days of clubbing everyone pays cover lol..

Monday 15th June

I am going to kick it off with a nice little gossip..this sat it is set in stone that beyonce will be @ mansion or the m2 fucking ultra lounge..ultra ultra ultra lol…and it is def a for sure thing guys because promoters don’t get comps…..the owners told all promoters they arent allowed to promote…they are only doing tables that night Saturday…so its legit..and they are going to make a lot of money…she probably is going to charge them an easy 100k for her to just show up..how sick is that people paying you to go to a club sounds familiar like the occupation of a “promoter” haha.

Jadakiss was @ pink elephant last night. I was a little too intoxicated to make the trip over there like last Sunday..I didn’t make the trip to the ghetto-ville 27st on Sunday that’s what it is…fights and a lot of blue and red lights everywhere due to police cars…I feel as though Sunday is more of a party night on 27st than it is on a Friday or Saturday lol…Last Sunday I experienced it in the flesh..But yeh Jadakiss was there and he did his little rapper performance..usual BS

So Justin Timberlake has been popping up on the radar recently…Ill tell you where it starts…a close friend of mine was at tenjune Sat but not the night time party ladies and gentlemen. Timberlake had a tequila release party @ tenjune from 9-11pm Saturday night. All went well same party stuff am sure he danced a little and maybe got on the mike and did some shout outs lol…artists all do the same thing but you don’t care you are reading this because you wanted to stalk him ..later that night Lindsay lohan and timberlake were @ avenue of course as avenue is the new 1oak…for OLD people lol..i am joking there…its not all old people lol..its the new hottest club that everyone wants to go to..there is nothing about this club that is old..besides the fact that old people are in it hahahahaha JL and MA I am joking..

So last night (Sunday) I did the Gansevoort rooftop…and later that night went by to griffin 3am..it was still bumping..genz (doorman for the box and he is Binn doorman for 1oaks brother) was there..always chilling out..very laid back guy…went to my partners table there @ griffin with some girls and had a blast as I was intoxicated..i guess that’s what it takes for me to have fun now? To be intoxicated? Haha..kidding..i am always hype regardless of my state of mind..unless some girls are annoying me for alcohol and asking where the bottle is …or when my phone is low on battery

Lauren Conrad this Thursday @ M2 can you believe it? White crowds will be swarming into M2 on Thursday I assume so should be a good oreo mix of people..lots of tasty cookies Mansion seems to be racking in celebs recently..they are a large industry type venue and can host big parties…I will be promoting it this Thursday so lets see how well I do…

Kanye West Party @ Greenhouse tonight so you guys should def be hitting that up tonight…will be packed and crazy night tonight..i have friends coming to Pink because they know it will be a mess there…

Jeremiah Lil Kim Kid Cudi Fat Joe all were @ tenjune last night….had friends that didn’t get in and decided to come by marquee and help my numbers out there…heard it was pretty insane…the usual tenjune people didn’t enjoy themselves as they found it a little too packed…expected…jeremiah sung his bday sex song..

For those of you avid club goers out there just a little fyi info for you…The EMM Group will be opening their new club on 14street which was called Lotus in august…spoke to a few people..we shall see if avenue and this new spot lotus will be battling it out head to head as the two newest clubs opened by very powerful promotional teams…emm group and the strategic group..will 1Oak still have its spunk? I def think so you want to know why? Because 1Oak is the after party spot..people will go to these venues first but 1Oak as the latest closing venue with some class will always have the upper hand of people using their location as the late night stop you know? But don’t take my word just my promo savvy thoughts there.

Tenjune is actually going to be packed tonight due to the fact that it’s the owners of Tenjunes bday Eugene remm and mark birnbaum…there will be numerous celebs there tonight…This is the best day you can possibly go to tenjune for so I advise you make a stop there as there will be many celebs to see

Johnny utahs was the usual suit and tie and goodlooking trendy crew…I rode the bull twice and the dismount the second time I rode I did a little backflip I always do my best to entertain lol..

Headed over to greenhouse Wilmer Valderama there and apparently he was @ avenue earlier on in the night…why would he leave there for greenhouse? Who knows…greenhouse management has also told me they strive for the after party aspect of the nightlife like 1Oak because this way they prolong the period of time people stay @ their club thus they make more money at the bar. Last night was on of those nights I just really was not in the mood for a single thing with regards to nightlife. Just was not even feeling social like my usual self. Didn’t want to be nice to anyone or even pour drinks , I straight up gave the girls the bottle and told them to have fun. I guess the 7 nights a week is taking a toll on me..Maybe I should take Sunday off but the Gansevoort really is an amazing party so I may have to sacrifice my rest for the summer.

Somehow last night Mr West pulled off a miracle I don’t even think 1Oak has ever been able to do aha. They had JAYZ Jamie Foxx and lil jon all there in the same night haha…how? Who the hell knows…My friend actually who is the promo director for Mansion Thur and also Mr West Monday is I think the reason for this because he is good @ hustling these artists to come to his spot…he has actually been begging me to work mr west but I prefer greenhouse so last night I received numerous bbms saying I am a loser and made the wrong decision lol in a joking way of course…

Gansevoort was decent…got there 9 and waited for girls downstairs till 930…mark from marquee was basically running the door (marc basically runs the door now @ marquee in place of wass who has been moved to avenue..upgrade for him)…So yeh went inside got table…on the inside room though I think my friends preferred the outside area because they kept leaving my table to go outside regardless of whether or not I had alcohol lol…girls are so hard to satisfy…quite difficult to keep people at a table when 3 bottles are to last from 9pm till 2am…

Went to check out Griffin right after and the setup is quite cool but I found it too dark man come on lol….like you cant see a thing in there..Sunday night though it had people…gansevoort was basically crazy throughout the night no matter the time and I eventually got a little drunk…sorry I let down those of you who I told I don’t drink..i cheated a little for one day..so griffin was quite voring for me at least and the director of club home was texting me to come as young jeezy was there so I took some girls across……binn (from 1Oak) and genz (from the box ) they are both brothers and they were there @ griffin chilling out…they are just like us guys hunan beings who want to have fun and they are brothers that are both doormen haha what a coincidence.. and also griffin sucked as no one was dancing..just standing waiting for a miracle..

Haven’t been to club home in like 2 years since I used to promote it and even then it was ghetto ahah…so on the streets as I get there are fire trucks etc and there was a huge fight that just was ended due to police raiding it and beating up all the participants…I love it…walked inside..the manager came out for us…we wanted table we didn’t get it we just got drink tickets…:( …I was wasted at this point and didn’t care..the girls that came with us were Caucasian and they peaced out asap haha….didnt even want to be there for 5 mins to go to bar they left…African Americans they don’t want to be around ahha racists..lol..i loved it..funny as hell I was wasted..any hot girls that were there troy was game to bag up cell #s ….left club home very drunk then decided to check pink elephant

So after all this night of mayhem…I leave pink and walking out 27st I see young jeezy walking to tenth ave from club home so I decide to follow..seeing girls hollering @ him and guys trying to take a pic or a video was quite entertaining though jeezy enjoyed it..he was in his prime…a rapper falling that needed a little boost got that happy feeling inside..he once again felt like he was loved..:) I just love to stand by and watch these things..the fights in the streets peoples manner of speaking you know? Some people think it’s hard to multitask. We can hunt for burgers and practise our flirting skills at the same time:

Celine is digging in. We actually found one of the best burgers we had in a long time at Belcourt Restaurant on East 4th and 2nd Street in East Village. The crowd is not the coolest – but the view is great from the corner window!

Other burgers that we like (not in our hood though – but close enough) are these mini burgers at Fat Hippo on Clinton and Rivington, Lower East Side. You even get a side of hot cheese to dip them in. Yummy.

Talking about mini burgers – the ones at Diner in Meatpacking are pretty good too. Especially at 6 o’clock in the morning. Open 24/7 – yes, we like.

The fattest, most meat for the money burger, you’ll find at Silver Spurs. The restaurant is all over the city (so not the most charming environment). There is a good one at Houston and La Guardia in Soho. Oh, and I love the English muffin they’re served on.

Another great greasy alternative is Empire Diner on 22nd street and 10th Avenue. Just a glimpse at that shiny chips makes you want to get a hangover.

They actually have me there to increase the white crowd in there haha..the manager told me that last night i could not stop laughing like i have nver heard that before lol…The promotional team there was actually trying to get lady gaga to go last night i knew it would have been a failure. I am not condemning them because they have actually been very successful in racking in alot of celebs in their thursday history…jayz nfl draft party shaq o neil..mike jordan queen latifah…The upcoming weeks they are pushing for Lauren Conrad…and then they will be having the NBA draft party @ mansion in like 2 or 3 thursdays…

So Wale did sing his one hit wonder song “chilling” feat by lady gaga…just one song and of course he told us to buy his album which i think will suck haha..He isnt omarion or chris brown with dancing skills to complement his weak rapping so i wish him the best…Its quite easy to bag up girls numbers @ mansion on thursday because sometimes there is like a vip section and I am in the middle table vip section so i get the wristbands so i get to seem like the cool exclusive organizer with authority and girls love to give their cell #s to guys with authority…so my night was complete…Some girls of mine that came went to the owners box…in mansion there is a middle vip area and then to the right of the room there is a small elevated level where it is supposedly the “owners box” where some in house mansion promoters sit with their supposedly gorgeous girls..nothing amazing just a reason for people to feel more special than the already special vip people in the middle of the room who they themselves think are more vip than the people outside the inner circle lol…its all a scheme set up haha…life is all about money fame and authority…if you say its not your a fucking liar…if i throw a million dollars in front of you your heart rate will jump so dont gime that BullShit..:)…have a nice day guys I will be @ Pink elephant tonight but have a guestlist @ mansion also so if you have a bday party thats wants to be seated at their own table @ mansion and drink up their own alcohol let me know

johnny utahs completely empty and greenhouse way too packed..James Gandol Fini….was @ greenhouse last night and for those of you like me that dont look @ tv andhad to ask a friend how to spell his name he is the main actor from the sopranos…he actually literally walked into greenhouse and walked right out due to it being wayyy wayy too packed…like he seriously walked in with his entourage of tall white italian friends and then walked out…Jon B was actually hanging out @ our table and saw Sopranos actor walk in and tried to get him to stay but he peaced out…

Grand Opening of Avenue was last night…am most prob going to check it out tonight so i will have some feedback for you…2 of noahs best promoters were working the venue…..Wass ran the door…exclusive spot people…goodluck getting in …17st and 10th avenue..

Today i got that happy feeling inside. Walked the streets of Manhattan to the gansevoort hotel rooftop party…this was fucking insane..and apparently today (sunday) it was lame compared to yesterday (sat)….i still found it the best daytime party i have been to but then again i have never been to the hamptons…..even the clouds and small amounts of rain couldnt stop the masses of goodlooking hampton look alike dressers from jumpin on top the tables and couches to dance…pink elephant is involved with this party…I was asking around some friends trying to see their response as to whether they would like to go to this rooftop and everyones response was yes…before i work a venue i like to find out and get some feedback on peoples willingness to go…so maybe next sunday i may hop on board…i pray to the gods that the sun is shining that day lol…the venue wasnt really promoter driven besides one which really did ensure the hype and class of the party was maintained…my one worry of me hopping onto this is that i myself will be drained..lol as some of you know i go out 6 nights a week…one day of rest is always good…lol..but i guess this is a different type of promoting not really the club type but a type of loungiee kind of daytime get together where people can chill out…well thats what it should be lol but today it was crazy people were dancing like mad…and even whilst i write this right now @1249am….monday morning people are texting me to go to this rooftop party because on sunday this party goes till 4 am…so all you blasted people that text me on a sunday (the one day i stay inside) i will finally have a black whole for all of you to be sucked into..

First obstacle: How to get the butter to reach all the way down in the popcorn box? I have to admit the first time I saw these butter machines I almost fainted. But now that I have gotten used to the idea I must say I am quite intrigued. They are so much fun. One push equals about one hour on a treadmill. Just the thought of that makes me laugh out load – or LOL, as I have learned.

And then we have the drinks. Diet of course – to make up for the calories in the popcorn box, that is almost bigger than my apartment. The Diet Coke cup was so heavy that we almost had to ask a gentleman to carry them for us. But I was determined to drink it all in less than 2 hours.

Anyway – the film started. Bianca had the popcorn in her lap. We were grabbing a handful on turns. My hands were full of butter and grease, and I was thinking – damn, where are those napkins when you need them? Should I wipe my hands off on my jeans? Because we also bought some chocolate raisins that I wanted to try.

Next obstacle: Will the coke slip out of my hands because of the butter now?

Yey. After about half and hour I found a solution to the coke grabbing obstacle. I just had to bend down and grab the straw with my mouth without touching anything.

And while Kate Winslet was naked all over the place, having sex with a 16 year old in a dirty bath tub, Bianca and I were poring butter and popped corn down our throats.

After almost two hours, a lot of tears (mixed with butter of course) later, we decided to call it a quit. We just couldn’t do it. Our seats were filled up with popcorn, my jeans were sticky, my face was greasy, my blather was exploding, and I suddenly felt that my whole life was just meaningless and miserable (thanks Kate). The movie just killed my mood for eating my face off (yes Kate, it’s your fault). The message in the movie was just too serious to keep me staying focused on the popcorn.

Next time I will see another film that’s not so distracting to the super sized “adapting-into-the-real-American-culture” -project. So I am not giving up that easily. One thing I’ve learned truly so far is that you are not a real loser until you are “The Biggest Loser”.

Watch out girls – the one who laughs last, is the one who laughs the best!

as ironic as it sounds think about it…bad weather hence no one goes hamptons hence everyone is here and no one can watch basketball all day so they go out and get drunk in clubs in nyc…No one decided to hop in their helicopters or buses to go to hamptons

I was seated on the dance floor this time due to large amounts of tables being sold …..terrible…lol…hadway too many people to be down there…it is quite amazing how many older pretty women go to pink elephant..alot of blondes and alot of bachelorette parties…or bday parties but better looking crowd you know but the door isnt that difficult like tenjune where your short friend wont be able to get in you know? Pink is like marquee and tenjune put into a blender even though the owners of those two clubs arent the best of friends

So I have some goodiie goodie gum drop celeb stories for you…went to 1oak…leo dicaprio was there…as usual he is seriously out more than any other celeb i have ever seen…ryan leslie is next in line i would say..its good networking for them i guess…soo thats not the good part lol..the good part is that whilst me and my two friends were outside 1oak yelling at gorgeous women lol and being stupid boys we saw the owner of 1oak come outside with leo and maybe 15 girls and literally walk them no more than 50 feet away from the door of 1oak to the door of AVENUE…finally i discovered where it is because everyone has been telling me its the old location of EARTH…how old the fuck do you think i am 50? i have never even heard seen or been to earth lol..so didnt know where it was and everyone was always saying the new avenue club is right by one oak but i never would have thought it would have been that close..do you think that close choice of location is by choice or coincidence? lol….i dont believe in coincidence…:)…so i of course followed them to avenue to see how the door is run..wass was not there at the door he was at marquee apparently….it was quite late also this is like @ 5 am so i still dont hae the low down on how the door is run but i will OF COURSE find out ….so guess what happened 5 mins after leo went inside? LINDSEY LOHAN comes outside looking for one of her friends lol..she is short..i thought she was taller…oh well…and then I asked one of the cadillac escalade drivers who they were waiting on and his response was “VIN DIESEL” lol….just racking the celebs in people…haha well anyways as usual i am late for going out so i gotta go shower and see if i can find some good stories for you couch potatoes..loveya

Some grammy award celebration or something intertwined with Tmobile. LL Cool J and Estelle are performing live..guess where…some place i have driven by on numerous occasions near west side highway…terminal 5..its @ 56st btw 12th and 11 ave…tomorrows event actually is a pregame event and begins @ 8pm i wont be there till 9pm lol…i have a guestlist setup so all you have to do is go and say troy @ the door…it isnt open to the general public so unless you go with me or some other promoter who was hired to work the event it aint happening ….let me know if you guys are coming tomorrow 6462515017

Marquee last night was slow as expected due tot he holiday exhaustion of everyone…especially those that go to the hamptons…as when in trinidad when i used to go to the beach on the weekends all i wanted to do the rest of the week was to sleep lol..maybe show off ur tan a little but thats all….

Hit 1Oak after…very very slow…it seems to be ritual now everytime i go here Binn isnt outside @ the door and security guards are deciding who comes inside of 1Oak..what can this be a sign of? Binn is getting tired of doing the door? is 1oak losing steam so they have to be a little easier @ the door? all possible? is Binn tired and needs some time off? anyone would guys, being a doorman @ such a club where everyone wants to go to and he has to reject “ugly” people sometimes isnt fun @ all…i have seen him in numerous verbal and some physical fights lol..quite interesting I love fights…

Everyone went for breakfast after @ the diner and the cafeteria as usual lol but in larger groups this time..so did i FYI….

Tenjune doorman for the holiday event was Josh…tough guy to deal with…quite the prick…very rude to females and to men even worse….critiquing them for how they are dressed…very arrogant….very…in a different way to tough doormen like binn and alex julian and genz…because josh is an asshole about it and he thinks he is the best looking person in the world…those other guys are just doing their job..but anyways enough me bashing people…So i got to tenjune early to set up guestlists for me and a bunch of promoters…no one was really there that early..and josh made alot of girls pay and i understand as it is a money making night you know? a one off night where the clubs management truly isnt even there..its a whole different team that basically rented out the club and they need to make a certain amt of money on the night for even themselves to make a profit…so they pinch our pockets for whatever cash you have..lol..such is life…the night ended up being quite fun…alot of people that never ever go clubbing were out just to have a good time..i truly didnt see the ritual club goers..unless they were promoters stopping by for a hot second you know?

I dont like to work holiday events because the usual crowd that you bring out where all girls get in for free they are shocked when they are faced with a woman telling them there is a 20$ cover charge …so they react by yelling @ me and harrassing me telling me they thought it was free….and my response is me putting my two hands in the air at my sides like a xmas tree …tenjune is a ncie spot though i wont lie…and it still has good hype after some time being open…it is a possible spot to have in my lineup just not sure which venue i would love to put in place of tenjune…who knows…and tenjune may have an easier door once alex julien leaves and goes to the new spot theyre opening on 14st….we shall see….for marquee wass will be moving to their new spot also…

Last sat marc jacobs had a private bday party @ Noahs new spot called AVENUE…even madonna came through to show some love…anyways greenhouse tonight…i am going for a run in the sun now and then going to see terminator..heard its a baller movie..

Thursday i was actually quite worried….I feel as though everyone is either in the hamptons or home on couch taking in the vacation and time off from work…couch potato status for everyone….

So thursday night @ mansion i had some trinidadian friends with me…here just for the long weekend…i am also getting alot of texts from people out of town saying they are here for the weekend so the clubs this weekend will most likely comprise of some foreigners….alot of canadians last night…Shaq O Neal was @ Mansion thursday…very unexpected celeb to be there lol…I have actually been going to the gym alot recently @ chelsea piers and been running into doorman for 1Oak (binns) brother Genz….and genz is actually the doorman for another club called THE BOX…just in case some of you didnt know that….the box is an exclusive venue where they have burlusque dancers….forgive me for my typing….that spelling is probably incorrect but i dont care lol…so yeh i have never actually even been to the box but i have been told basically its men and women that get up on stage naked and dance..i dont know how that works out to be a good club but I always hear good reviews from it so whatever…actually speaking of the box…a close friend told me last night sting was @ the box last night …and some piano player rosie chen performed….just an FYI for your celeb lovers out there

Also Thursday @ the hudson terrace there was some Gotham Magazine Party and @ Marquee there was an Ed Hardy event…actually i forgot to mention some messages ago that hulk hogan was @ Marquee on a friday..if it wadnt last friday it was the friday before i think last friday…

Last night rihanna @ 1oak….with an entourage of guys…no girls really in her group…she was seated at table to the left side of the dj usually celebs are found on the right side of the club near the owners table but one oak management probably gave her her own space and table for her group…no guys chris brown wasnt there lol…he slapped her remember?

Anyways last night johnny utahs was basically same shit people riding bulls that being me riding it twice and bruising up my hands and corporate crowd nearby the bar and trendy club like model looking people on the side where all the tables are located. Blah blah no celebs…was packed due to summer time etc.

went to greenhouse managers were so excited to see me outside walking in my group i knew something was fishy..when i walked inside it was dead empty due to the gothic people not doing their usual rock and roll performance..there was this group i cannot remember the name paradiso they were actually really good whatever song they played and they were very hot females..i dont keep updated with all the tv shows and new artists with hot songs so i may be out the loop of who they are…but apparently they are famous…supposed to be performing @ tenjune tonight also…did the usual promoter thing @ greenhouse poured drinks got some phone numbers and then chilled out and enjoyed the music…one thing that pisses me off is when people walk in with other promoters and then come to my table for drinks and this happened last night and had me very irate….but the gentleman that i am i still give them drinks knowing they are future clients….

Went to butter late night and saw the actor named tay diggs i think it is spelt he acted in the movie “malibus most wanted” where the white guy tries to be black and hood etc and tay diggs acts as the black guy who is totally white…fills the role quite welll and last night @ butter he was well dressed and will one or two friends at the first tble to the left @ butter near the cocktail waitresses…so that when he wants special treatment he can get it quickly…spoilt famous brats…nothing else happened really i just got the djs card and spoke to a few people….actually ran into this lady that lectured me for 20 mins about clubs etc…was very enlightening to see how dumb she was..she thought i was an avg guy who just came from another country and never went to a club before..i like to listen to alot of people to see how far they go and see how cocky they are…try it sometime it is VERY ENTERTAINING I PROMISE YOU..

I also have some food for thought for you..did you know that marquee isnt the longest running most successful club? Butter is they have been open for ten years…I am not saying they are making more money than marquee..lol that is never possible lol but they have been able to stick around for so long and make a profit…ten years for a club is a long time but maybe this is so because butter is solely open as a club on monday nights and during the day its a restaurant….good idea…

I was invited to view Manhattan from a helicopter today – oh, man was I scared. But it was a truly ass kicking once in a lifetime experience – and I got to wear the coolest head phones ever.

Saturday 16th May

Hoping it does happen but being real with myself and doubting it will. That sat when leo tom c kate hudson JT and olson twins came to marquee truly was a miracle. But as i have said before who knows its nyc and random shit happens…and hey keep in mind AVENUE marquees new clubs is opening quite soon to be honest i am not sure when but was told it might be tonight but i should have heard of it by now so guess not…I have been slacking on my 1Oak visits this week as my family is here but will get back in the game from the beginning of next week and keep you lazy couch potatoes out there posted….

So the unthinkable happened last night. Walked in a birthday group to mansion and went to pink and felt i was in the land of goodlookingness. Pink somehow has been well to me at least a hidden Junior 1Oak…exclusive door with stefan there…I made the mistake of telling my guests that walk in time is 1215 which is way too late to walk into pink on the weekends as stefan solely does the door and it gets really busy so his attention is focused more on possible revenue for the club via table sales. So the usual people that come have to wait a few extra moment but in “snobby girls club time” this is light years of time and they refuse to wait when “there are like a million clubs in nyc troy why am i waiting” my response “have a nice night” So next friday walk in will be @ 1130 to get inside early and to maximize stefans free time at the door before the masses arrive.

Now to speak of inside the venue. I usually do wednesdays alone but fridays is a completely different demographic as there is a switch from hip hop following to house following. So basically switch from NYC to EUROPE lol…Walking by tables i hear russian french and swedish. I was seated right next to the owners table table 9 in the far right corner so it was a good spacious table. The good thing about doing a club two days a week it feels as though you become a member of a family and staff @ the venue will sometimes go out of their way to assist you. There is no club in all of NYC that has done that for me more than Marquee and I hope it remains that way. Pink elephant I also feel very welcome directly from the owners themselves as they talk to me in person etc. One thing after seeing the heat and steam (that being the high demand of people to come to PE on weekends) that i cannot understand is how the club is not doing well financially. Why was pink bought over by mansion? Heard they had problems making payments but with such a successful weekend and only being open wed through Sat how is that possible? Who knows? if you do tell me!!!!

Have you ever wondered what life is like outside the usa club or nightlife wise? How old are the people that frequent nightclubs outside the USA..Just from my short stint here i have come to realize it is ok for people the age of my parents to go clubbing alot around here as it is all i see older people and of course the masses of youth but i mean one amazing thing i find up here is alot of the people that go out are 35+…you will be amazed to see all the grey haired people in 1Oak sometimes..well when i went to scores on tuesday i seriously saw an old man that required an escort not as a female escort but as someone needed to help him walk from A to B lol..how crazy is that?

Johnny Utahs was insane this monday i felt as though it was the true beginning of the summer as this was basically the week when all student exams or done or they finish this week so college kids galore were there and it was difficult to walk around the circular room within 5 minutes the manager for jutahs moved me from my usual table as willmer valderama and his crew requested it so we complied for a celeb lol

Greenhouse was the same. It was a hot sweatbox and a lot of people were there. Black eyed pease came late night after they were chilling out @ mr west. My friends saw them outside walking in and i presume they went to the upper level of greenhouse with the owner jon b who was there for once on a monday…willmer valderama or however you spell it also came across from johnny utahs…

Butter was slow by the time i got there and busta rhymes was just leaving but irv gotti and damon dash was there and my friend saw damon dash driving a red corvette nice ride right? especially to have with the high parking rates in nyc maybe he lives outside manhattan or maybe he is just baller status..

The Scores grand opening on tuesday night to be honest was quite weak to me. I have never in my 22 years of life been to a strip club before and i must say that I have not missed much. I mean it was great to see topless women and all but these girls were not as attractive as i expected. There were one or two that were phenomenal but all in all it was average and my friends were ready to leave for marquee after an hour or so and we did.

Marquee…? Guess what?? Guess how many people I had tuesday night marquee? 63 people thats got to be a record for a tuesday night there or any other club on a tuesday night lol…felt good to have that many but it was due to a birthday party and not due to my natural promoting skills..shooting myself in the toes the party was packed and as said earlier summer is here or imminent

Fordham Graduation after party tonight is @ Marquee not that many of you care…i am taking it easy from pink elephant tonight to celebrate with my friends for graduation…some say i am taking a night off but i will still be working as numerous people are still contacting me for the event…starts 12am tonight so throw on ur suits and dresses and say fordham guestlist @ the door if you want

The set I was invited to was build inside Bedford Armory in Brooklyn. The movie is called The Sorcerer’s Apprentice – a title that is very hard to pronounce for a foreigner like me. Anyway, we were 7 journalist shuttled form Manhattan to the set, and everyone had, of course, different agendas.

The typical challenge when you are interviewing actors is that some of the journalists just asks very stupid questions. They simply just ask questions about the movie. So for me that means trouble. I always need personal juice – because we all know that’s what sells magazines and newspapers.

So here is my gossip from the set yesterday. I spent 9 hours there and got to talk to Nicolas Cage for about 10 minutes. When I finally got the chance to ask him a question (yes the other journalists were all over him), this is what happened:

ME: So Nic – in the movie you have all this magical powers. Did anything magical ever happen to you in real life?
NIC:Yes. But I don’t want to tell you about it.
ME: Ah, ok.
NIC: Yeah.

Then we spoke to 5 other actors that were more than willing to talk to us for about 30 minues each – because they are not famous yet.

Over to the set:
Nicolas Cage arch rival, played by Alfred Molina, was suppose to be thrown backwards about 30 feet, really fast, and land on the concrete floor. It happened so fast, and it just looked so painful. The stunt man brushed off his shoulders and limped away. I am still wondering how much money they gave him for that…

After eating some sticky Chinese food, some fruit, some nuts,some cheese cake and some chocolate cake, I realized that I could never work on a movie set. It’s all about TSA (totally standing around). One of the stand ins told me that it’s better than bar tending, but I am not sure. Being a star – fine, you get all the good stuff. But being the water guy for example (yes, they had one guy who went back and forth poring water on the same spot for hours…) – I fell asleep just watching him.

I was so exhausted just standing around watching the other people standing around – that I ended up just lurking around in the eating section. I found some nuts and caramels. I ate a lot of caramels – and then I went home.

So that’s it – the movie business is really about killing time between takes (or killing takes between meals). And if you eat caramels doing it – you will definitely be too fat to be and actor anyway.

- How did you work out? You are the sexiest man alive and somehow you have to raise the expectations.

- Ha, ha. You put that in a way like I have to work for that title. That is funny to me. I worked out probably for a year prior to the shooting. I started January 1st and we started filming February next year. It took me 10 months. Very intense diet and heavy, pretty intense training. There were 2 phases, the first was for growth and then to lean up. The most important thing to me was to look lean, I wanted it to look animalistic, powerful, and dangerous. I didn’t want to look pretty. I actually insisted for the naked shot myself way back with X Men 2, because I wanted him to look animalistic.

- Did you do the stunts?

- I did most of them. 90 % of the time it’s me. The jumping on the waterfall was of course me, and the slicing of the rollerblades, that’s the scene that I’m most proud of… when I get thrown off of the truck and I slice the helicopter blades. It was very difficult, all in one take.

- Are you happy with your double task here, as a producer and actor?

- Yes. I’m very happy. It’s a great honor to be considered a partner with these guys. I focused on the things that I knew. It’s a lot that I don’t know about producing. I enjoyed it. It probably did the acting more satisfying. I was more involved with the entire process

- You had an incredible year. Could you talk about hosting the Oscars and giving Barabra Walters a lap dance?

- I was very surprised they asked. It was 1.30 in the morning and I was on a press tour for “Australia”, I woke up to the phone call and I thought it was my wake up call. I almost hung up on the Academy actually, but I said of course, I didn’t think for a second in saying no. And I began thinking what I’m going to do? When I did the show the Barbara Walters thing was the very last show. I dragged up on stage and Matt Damon and I encourage her to have a lap dance, and then I said to her I have my famous lap dance, so then she asked me to do it on camera, I felt it was a little weird but I said let’s do it.

- You were talking about the generosity of this country with Australian actors. After “Australia” The Los Angeles Times blamed Nicole Kidman for the poor box office?

- I didn’t read it but it’s ridiculous. She is amazing actress.

So I took a picture of it and kept on walking. It reminded me of how lucky I am to be living in a city where you can actually have a anal work shop on a Sunday from 5-7 PM. Next time I will build up enough courage to go inside and make a story for you guys.

The great performer and tranny, Rose might have learned some tricks there. This is his performance at The Box (on Chrystie and Rivington – LES). If you ever decide to visit the theater, that is a reminiscent of New York’s old vaudeville palaces, you will definitely witness some serious offensive and crazy stuff. Like this:

Griffin- new venue- grand opening is tonight my friends are you excited. The venue already has promoters even after I was told by a secret source that they are not hiring promoters. Yeh right! They are actually calling these promoters Ambassadors. They are not calling them promoters. How dumb is that. “Hi my name is troy I am an ambassador for this club griffin” lol. It is located @ the old PM spot but is not owned by the same people. Adam Hock and the owners of Room Service run the spot. It will be exclusive lets say for like 6 mths then be open to the public. Goodluck gettin in.

Venue called The Gates may lose liquor license and they also say they dont have promoters.

The new club which marquee owners are opening is going to be called the AVENUE. Spoke to some friends that got a view of the space and i heard its a room to fit like 300 people and as you enter there is a staircase lining the wall leading to the DJ booth and up there there is like an extremely so called vip table that leads to another vip room. Sounds insane. Lets see how this turns out. I was told it will be opening in a matter of 2 weeks or so still tentative.

Bruce Willis was @ cafeteria last night chilling out with some friends for you die hard fans.

Knicks player Lee #42 had his bday party celebration @ 1oak last night and all the hostesses were wearing knicks t shirts with his name on the back. Classic.

Lloyd Banks or the game (one of them) had their bday party @ prime i was told but when I was walking into Pink elephant i saw large crowds of ghetto people going into Home so i am assuming the party was there instead of prime. Not certain. Stefan no longer does the door for pink elephant wednesdays. Rami and Sammy now do it for you newbies.

Also some CGC party is going to take place @ crash mansion tonight I am not even sure what cgc stands for but i know it is for the hottest college students in nyc. some party related to this. I will try to get more information on it for you tomorrow.

- Why did you start this website?

- Christine [Aylward] and I, we’ve been friends for a few years now and we were just talking one night and I said, ‘I wonder why there isn’t a website that sort of encapsulate the experience of visiting a friend on a film set?’ Because every time that a friend of mine came to visit I was sort of reminded how exciting of a place it is to work and reminded how little we all know when you’re just a movie-goer about all the different aspects that go into making a film. So the site is supposed to encapsulate that experience and give access to people who don’t have a friend that they can go visit on a film set. So they can say, ‘How did they do that?’ There are jobs that exist that people don’t even know about on films sets that we can sort of give insight into and just have that experience for the serious burgeoning filmmaker. There’s this whole generation now of people who are making their own movies with www.youtube.com and similar sites. I’m sure that they want expert advice or the opportunity to see how it looks up close. So that’s the goal of the site, to just extend that access to everyone.

- So it’s for people who want to learn what a grip is and for people who want hear expert advice from Ron Howard?

- Yeah. It should be, like, the kid who’s like, ‘How did they do that explosion in the “Bond” movie?’ to the person who’s like, ‘What lens was he using when he got that very specific shot –’ or whatever. The goal is to have that range.

- So in the ‘Vault’ section of the site you’ll be able to watch whole movies or just clips of things?

- Making of related things with movies that are already past being in theaters. So we’re hopefully getting archival things. That’s what we want for the future on the site.

- Did you do some of the interviews yourself that we see?

- I did. I did one interview that I think is going to be up. I didn’t want it to be like the me site. I really want it to be about filmmaking. So I didn’t want to be all over it, but I did one interview.

- Do you see the site connecting, say, a hairdresser with a production company or things like that?

- In terms of connecting people I think one of the future goals for our interviews will be to have filmmakers interviewing other filmmakers so that they’re asking the exact questions. If you’re a costume designer what would you ask a legendary costume designer? If you’re a casting director….so that we connect those people and have interviews in that way, too.

- One exciting thing about the site is that it encompasses the whole business of film, from accounting to acting.

- This is really where we will expand and that’s the goal. I think it was one of the ‘Naked Gun’ movies in the credits, I remember seeing this as a little kid, that said ‘what the hell is a dolly grip?’ You watch the credits and if you don’t know, if you haven’t been on a film set you’re like, ‘What? What does that even mean?’ So, yes, most people would be like, ‘Why does a film need an accountant?’

Saturday April 25th

Had a huge bachelorette party of 30 girls all from ohio such good times when out of towners come out because they dont know how thigns work and they are patient and not snobby unlike new yorkers. Mansion continues to piss me off fridays. When this bach party came @2am they were not giving comps to any more girls. Ridiculous. I had to get the manager to text the owner who wasnt even there to ask for confirmation for this. Quite insane. They close their guestlist @ 2am and they dont always even have comps @ the front. Its ridiculous.

Thursdays are the best day to be @ Mansion otherwise its whack lol…Na kidding its good inside but its just the management are so difficult to deal with…i wont even mention the doorman.I was upstairs in the house room…nice spacious area…had a big group….then went to marquee for a friends bday…@ Marquee everyone got in no troubles and were treated nicely…Fat Joe was there and some other athletes for my friends bday. Kid cudi was also there but he was trying to be incognito lol in the red room downstairs. Besides the trouble @ mansion it was a good party night.

Tonight I am @ Marquee. always let me know of bday parties and bachelorette parties as thats my specialty. Large groups I am good with.

Being 5’10 myself, I have to admit that not many women makes me feel small. But Geena Davis did the job. When I met her at Tribeca Filmfestival the other day she was blooming as always talking to the press about her new movie Accidents Happen.

Friday April 24th

got there 11pm with my people and we waited for half hr no one was being let in besides celeb athletes and there was red carpet etc and there was even the filming of some new movie sadly i didnt get to find out the name..some rich lady was driving a ferrari in the streets and was trying to turn it around and she couldnt do it it took for ever and it was actually part of the reason for the backup of the line @ the door thank god they got rid of it…so then the promoters were not even being allowed to let their people in of course I found a way for my people to get in

my friends who were patient and waited with me all got in. Then I was the only promoter to have a table in the vip section every single other table was either decked out with the human furniture of an nfl player and nba player or the likes of fat joe who stopped by late night..andyes kim kardashian was there sadly i didnt see her but the emcee was giving her shout outs all night lol

A close friend who is familiar with the names of all these athletes told me the following were there al harrington from knicks justin tuck brandon jacobs and ward from the giants…tony gonzales nfl keshawn johnsonNFL and charlie villinueva and NBA player..tyrese was also there…adrian peterson NFL and numerous others…I wont lie to you it was quite hood lol. But nonetheless everyone had a great time. I gave my cocktail waitress my two bottle tickets she looked at me like I just gave her forms to fill out for taxes…her exact words were “troy give me 15mins a guy just bought13 bottles with flares i need to walk them all to his table now with the other girls” now thats what i call popping bottles. wow…

Last night was the most celebs ive seen in one place in real life ever. Thur @ Mansion as I said a few blogs before is the best NYC party as long as you can bear with the ghetto crowd. Thats the downside. Regardless. I am @ Mansion again tonight..ha but no celebs this time..just lame people like me (troy:) Guess who had the most people last night )))))))))

George st pierre one of top ufc fighters was @ greenhouse and also @ 1oak last night spoke to him for a bit very laid back kind of guy wasnt at vip tables or anything just in the drift

Lil jon was going crazy @ 1oak on the emcee by the dj just yelling for each song and he was drunk of course lol..playing his favourite songs etc…and saying he loved cocaine

Some nets players were @ pink elephant lastr night which was very slow in the beginning and picked up but in general all night it wasnt bumping as though people were going crazy as they usually do. Gigi a mansion bartender had her bday there though. So a lot of gorgeous women were there

Kim kardashian tonight and nfl draft party..one of the players is a close friend and he said theyre all going there for 9pm and they all were given wrist bands so they will be there before usall..I am going for 11pm and walking in early to avoid stress…love you and hope to see you soon

i lite his last cigerette and say are you ok and he says yes but i don’t believe him so i walk him home and make sure he gets there safely. he can’t unlock the door so i do if for him he stumbles down the hallway into the bedroom falls on to his bed i look at him and shake my head wondering if i should take off his shoes but decided not to because i want him to remember what happened in the morning.

Just read the Marquee harvard business review thing and it is quite cool to see how in depth of an analysis is given on the marquee institution. Greenhouse last night was quite lame and so was johnny utahs but this was expected with thunderstorm weather of course. Even I was on my couch and hated myself for having to get up and shower and wear clothes to get wet in and have to wait outside in the rain for people. WEAK.

I also was quite intoxicated due a certain bet I had to fulfill with a friend. I rode the bull @ johnny utahs for the first time its quite cool and you all need to experience this once before you die. Your inner thighs the day after are going to kill you though. I cannot imagine what strong legs equestrian riders must have.

I dont believe Pink elephant has anything special tomorrow but I will be there. Shooting myself in the foot by telling you this (as I am working marquee tonight) but tenjune has DJ class doing live performance (you know he has that song where its “I got them diamonds on my neck got patron in my cup etc”) blah blah…So you celeb lovers go have fun with that

Kim Kardashian @ Mansion this thursday…NFL draft party also there this thursday …I believe there is a preparty there @ M2 or mansion as you may call it either from 9pm but it is invite only and the athletes remain after for the actual club party @ Mansion so it should be a good time. Let me know you guys plans. I wont lie to you, mansion on thursday is quite ghetto but it rings in some good celebs.

Uma is in the jury this year with Meg Ryan, Adrian Brody, Bradley Cooper and 28 other jurors.

I was meditating on how everything Is being run by Love. I was sitting on the train yesterday and I began to see how the life in every body around me was supported and sustained by love.  And everyone has a different way by which they go about attaining love or showing love.  Some receive love through being beautiful.. some through wealth.. Fame.. power.. renunciation.. wisdom. They take pride in these qualities .. And based on where they are finding love.. that energy sustains the body.  When we lose these qualities (or our feeling of having them).. we fall into very depressing states.. almost as far as suicide.  Almost as if the life force begins to drain away. And love is usually conditional. I love you if you give me this.. Or if you are my race.. or if you were also from my country. Or if you believed in the same philosophy as me..  So Love then can never be experienced fully..

For example..  One popular song called.  “swagger like us”. By TI.. Kanye.. Jayz- Lil Wayne.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Tg8-YwLQeM The song is about how amazing it is that they have so much of one of those qualities. They are the best.. because they have these qualities.. and its a glorification of these material qualities. They recieve love from people because of these material qualities. Only thing.. the material energy is always changing.. and is temporary.

A spiritualists also has a connection to these qualities.. And sees them as the essence of who they are.  So they walk with the same swagger.. But their love is from a place beyond material qualities. They have a confidence in what they do because they are being backed by a spiritual potency that is eternal and beyond the temporary material world.And they are connected to a person who has all these qualities in full….  and that person is their best friend.. ever well wisher..  Kind of like being the son of a king who owns all the money in the kingdom.

Because that love isnt based on any material situation like race, wealth etc.. Then it is more readily available and can be given any time and anywhere.

Ahh lofty goals.. haha

But on another note..

I mentioned this in message day before. Kiss and fly last night opened up its wednesday party and as I expected all the promoters were in for a good shock that alot of their people couldnt get in. Kiss and fly is all about being tall and european. They like that type. Anyways Nick Cannon was a very good dj last night he hyped the crowd very well but it was quite empty. The management for Pink elephant threw all the promoters onto the right side of the room and the middle dance floor and left side were quite empty…didnt balance out the room very well bad move lol. But eventually they had some serious table buyers roll in due to the celebrities. I didint go to 1oak i stayed @ pink throughout till 4am and enjoyed the party. Of course I had the most people out of all promoters

With regards to M2 tonight I am actually the emcee for the party some of the mgt told me. It isnt set in stone but if i am ill do my best to hype the party quite excited actually

I actually didnt see them to be honest. All my girls were @ their table. When I go 1Oak I always remain in the drift just walking around in the walkways getting a feel for the crowd. I find it quite rude if I go uninvited to other peoples tables esp when they are usually guys tables and they give you the “oh focking great another guy @ my table” kind of look. I dont want to feel uninvited. Dont like crashing house parties etc lol. So i remain away from that.

Nick cannon and estelle will be @ pink elephant tonight because there is some album release party going on right now actually as i write this @ Pink…But they are deciding to press on throughout the night and remain @ pINk…I heard he will also be venturing for the new opening night of Kiss and Fly on wednesdays and omg they got rid of doorman MILA what a mistake he was really good and down to earth. lets see if kiss and fly can last without closing down their wednesday party for a lounge that they thought will bring them vasts amts of revenue but it didnt. So sad.

Ice T and Coco will be @ mansion tomorrow (thursday) this crowd as i said is a little more on the home and guesthouse type crowd but hey I have to mix it up i like all people and to me to be honest it is the funnest time i have all week. Its balling style type party. Hip hop @ mansion in the main room….LOVES it

Monday tonight @ greenhouse its always some focking rock band but who cares the dj is pretty good when they start to mix in the hiphop…best female dj i have ever heard…dj brooklyn OMG lol..ballerific…and plus shes gorgeous…

anyways I just woke up..hence the reason for the late message lol..not much to talk of as weekends are always madness and i never remember what happens monday after…so ill try to have some stories for you tomorrow…hitting johnnyutahs tonight @ 10pm always some very attractive girl on the bull looking for attention lol…then after we go to greenhouse for around 12 or 1230……

Over 4,000 people rsvp’d to Paper Magazines “Beautiful people” -party last night – and the line outside was endless. Luckily we knew some people who knew some people who knew some people…

So why did half of Manhattan decide to show up at this beautiful party last night? Because Katy Perry was performing and because who doesn’t want to go to a beautiful party with an open bar (it was a cherry flavoured vodka that tasted like a mix of chewing gum and marzipan – but who cares). The event, which was sponsored by H&M, was for the magazine’s 12th Annual “Beautiful People Issue” of which Perry is on the cover.

The Hot ‘n Cold hit maker visited the stage for a short set of three songs, including a cover of the The Outfield’s 1986 hit “Your Love” and her break-out smash “I Kissed A Girl”, introduced with a giant Cherry Chapstick.

During her performance, popular Perry was wearing a sequin dress with an image of herself on it. Luckily we didn’t wear our dresses with pictures of ourselves that evening. How embarrassing would that be?

We found this not so beautiful picture of us on a website this morning. We look fat – but we blame it on the angle. But inside we are very beautiful – just like everyone else at Hiro last night…

Lady Sovereign, Kat DeLuna, Richie Rich and Jaslene Gonzalez where also at Hiro to hit up the festivities.

After the party we went to another magazine party at Tribeca Grand. None of us can remember the name of the magazine though. I guess that’s the price you have to pay for free marzipan-chewing gum drinks.

I really think that thursday there @ mansion is the best thursday party…it sometimes gets a little ghetto but i kid you not the party is very good music and it prolongs until 5am……my friends told me nas and estelle were @ greenhouse tues night ha sorry for the delay of notice…kid cudi was @ marquee last night he did a little performance…marquee owner jason strauss was also there @ marquee i believe it was his bday so there were a lineup of celebs there i wasnt there so i dont know.

But yes back to thur @ mansion..lol i kid you not…the party is good from 1am through 5am..it doesnt stop…the djs form one oak jesse marco and sinatra had the crowd bumping all night long and for an extended period of time i have been wandering for a good thursday party lol i found it …sadly i do mansion two days in a row so my guests get less variety….but i love thursdays there so who cares…

Mansion is getting very anal on all promoters now on the weekends..we arent allowed in the hallways…we arent allowed to walk people inside…its terrible…and guess what theyre closing the guestlist @ 2am…

When I moved in to my lovely rent stabilized old school apartment in NoHo I was really proud and happy to have made the best deal ever. I went out to celebrate with some appletinis that I’d heard was the most political correct drink to consume last summer – before I started to clean up the mess after the person that I am subletting from.

After a few hours I gave up. My apartment was so full of shit that I just decided to ignore it. But now I have to pay the price…

After stopping cars with mind power for a while we got very hungry… On avenue B and 3rd street there is a cute little Cuban place called Café Cortadito. Although they kicked us out at 11pm and tried to charge us for a dish we didn’t order – we have to admit that we love the food and the atmosphere.

Try the steak – it’s huge and very yummy. And then shrimps too… Yummy and huge.

Bianca is in love with the desert menue..

We like Malbec wine for $7 dollar a glass.

Union Square was packed with people and their dogs this afternoon. Humans were standing in line to get free popcorn and free cotton candy, while their dogs were waiting eagerly in line to get drawn or painted. One little fellow got spray painted on a bag. He wasn’t too excited about the result though. Little Daisy, who apparently was afraid of her own shadow – had real doggy style, and was definitely worried about getting drawn by some stranger. Can’t blame here really… She is only human – like the rest of the New York dogs that wear fashionable clothes, has two shrinks and eat organic dry food for breakfast…

Since we didn’t receive a personal invite to the official TOPSHOP party at The Box on Thursday, we decided to comfort ourselves with a dinner at Freeman’s instead.

Freeman’s was packed as usual, but we thought it was a little mysterious that the place was surrounded with big guys in black suits and earplugs.While we were trying to create a plan B to sneak in the to A-list party, we suddenly noticed the notorious doorman Binn from 1 Oak entering the restaurant from behind a blue curtain. And then we realized that there most likely is a sneak-in back way to The Box!

We grabbed our coats, and jumped through the blue curtain. And I must admit, we were all very disappointed. We had actually left Freeman’s for an exit to the street and there was no way back. We suddenly heard someone coming and we had no other choice than to run up the stairs with our high heels trying to be as quite as possible. Luckily we weren’t busted, but we figured that the best idea was probably to get the hell out of there before anyone would notice.

We headed towards the emergency exit, and as we entered the streets, the door slammed behind us. What a bummer! But then, to our big surprise, we realized that the exit door was right next to The Box. The outside was packed with paparazzies and fashionistas in line desperately trying to get in to the TOPSHOP party. “Right in this way, girls” said a tall, security guy – and voilà! We had the smoothest entry to the Box ever, and were suddenly sipping free drinks at the bar.

Before we managed to realize what just happened, Zack Braff was trying to impress us with some pick-up lines that he recently learned while traveling to Swedish. Our friend Bianca was not too impressed, and rejected him quickly when he said he was living in New Jersey. She obviously didn’t reqognize him.

The party continued, and we decided to head towards the main stage to see the show. While Adele was performing, we took a look around and noticed that we were sitting at Kate Moss‘ table, among Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Kevin Spacey, Penn Badgley, Blake Lively, James Blunt and Simon Cowell. Kate Moss seemed to have a lot of fun, smoking and giggling with her friends in the couch. Beside her was Jennifer Lopez, who looked absolutely stunning with her flawless skin. She actually appeared hopelessly in love while cuddling with boyfriend Marc Anthony. Me, on the other hand, was sitting next to James Blunt, who promised to protect me if the performing guy with a big sward on the stage would fall over us. Ah, thanks James!

By 2am the party was still in full swing and the evenings entertainment was rounded off with Kevin Spacey taking the stage to perform “I aint got no money” managing to get the entire celebrity table to join in on the chorus. Then Simon Cowell stood up from the couch to give his verdict of Spacey’s performance. Luckily for Kevin, Simon was very satisfied. Afterwards, Kevin Spacey went over to Kate Moss (who was surprisingly short!) and thanked her for a great party. Since I was standing next to her, I thought ” what the hell”, and reached out my arm and introduced myself to Kevin and Simon – who were both very friendly and probably though we where good friends with Kate (what else were we doing at their table?)

The supermodel was pretty drunk by then, and said she was craving for pizza. Since she managed to stumble over my foot on her way out, we thought it was time to go home as well.

Unfortunately, Zack Braff was no where to be seen anymore – we wouldn’t actually mind an after party with him in NJ after all. Bianca actually realized that she had a crush on him for years. So if you read this Zack – your Swedish wasn’t THAT bad! Call us and we can work on it together.

Apparently, Kate Moss wasn’t the only celebrity that was drunk on Thursday. Our new blogger Athisa, who works at Freeman’s, is actually the waiter from this hilarious story about Hillary Duff.

Since then she edited two of the world’s most prestigious magazines, the New Yorker and Vanity Fair. Everywhere she went – sales increased.

To mark the 10th anniversary of the death of her dear friend Princess Diana, Tina Brown published; The Diana Chronicles in 2007 – and at the moment she is working on a book of another close friend; Hillary Clinton. Recently she launched The Daily Beast - an Internet news site.

Tina Brown is also known for her dinner parties where she invites the elite of rich and influential people. When I met her in her office here in Manhattan, she admitted that she often discovers new, talented writers by talking to them at her parties. But she uses other sources too. And that’s where YOU come in. Just listen to this:

Last week my Swedish friend Katarina asked me if I wanted to join her to see a documentary she was a part of almost 10 years ago. She’d totally forgotten about it, until MoMa contacted her about a screening they called “We Live in Public”.

The movie is directed by Ondi Timoner featuring Josh Harris‘ life as a genius Internet guru who became a millionaire in the 90s with his company PSEUDO. Harris loved to experiment and predicted that in the future all of us would “live in public”. We would share our lives in this new thing called “the Internet”. That’s why he in 1999 made a huge SoHo building into a living area where he placed 110 cameras and about 100 people for one month. Everything was recorded. He provided food and fun – and even guns. Everything was free – but all the footage (5000 hours) he owned – forever!

My friend Katarina Andersson was living in the house, but she had no idea at that point, what she was a part of. All she can remember was that it was the best party of her life. I asked her some questions after the screening last night:

The movie won The Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Filmfestival this year. After the screening Josh Harris reveled that his next project is “the wired city”. He will record a whole city – and what better place
to do that than LA.

Director Ondi Timoner reveals that she knew in 2006, after the Facebook revolution, that the time had come to make the documentary.

We Live in Public, Capsule Hotel. NYC 1999. People were watching each other from the screens that were placed all over the place. They were having sex, going to the bathroom, showering – and they even got interrogated about their personal life – all in PUBLIC:

Josh Harris predicted that it would all happen – that we would all live in public – that we would all be slaves to the machines. Something to think about next time you update your Twitter status and post your holiday photos on Facebook. You don’t own it anymore – THEY do. And they can do whatever they want with it…

Yes, it might seem a bit weird, but there is a annual thing for everything in New York City. And when thousands of grown ups gather to fight with pillows in front of New Yorks Stock Exchange Building, there will be some memorable moments.

The message was: Swing and whack as you evade pillow-wielding assailants and bank executives. Bring a soft pillow and wait for the signal.

But it was some really hard core pillow slamming going on. I wonder if AIG and Bernie Madoff had something to do with it.

The rules were:
+ Soft pillows only!
+ Swing lightly, many people will be swinging at once.
+ Do not swing at people without pillows or with cameras.
+ Remove glasses beforehand!
+ Do not abandon your pillow at the location.
+ Dress in business suits, demand your bailout check.

Cleanup: Please reduce your use of feathers. As the pillow fight grows in size, so does the mess. By participating, you are pledging to clean up twice the mess you made.

Most people came to get rid off anger, while some came with love, peace and a little frustration.

We look forward to next year. Than we’ll bring some more serious gear – like a duvet, or maybe a bed… That should kick some ass!

PS – I think we could say truthfully that NO ONE cleaned up a single feather before they left the area at 5pm. Maybe they could make that a part of Madoff’s prison sentence – “Clean up all the mess on Wall Street?”

I met Walker R. Manzke at Chelsea Pier where he was showing off his sleazeball collection. For time being Madoff balls are the best selling product, but there is also a big demand for Nancy Pelosi and for R. Allen Stanford, who ran a similar scam to Bernie Madoff in Houston. The entrepeneur reveals that people are also ordering Obama balls and Britney Spears balls.

Walker founded Sleazeball LLC with his dad in February just after he lost his job. He thought, what better way to get some anger out of the system then to hit some balls with the face of the person he hates the most on it.

The opening of Top Shop was at 11am this morning, and rumor has it that people were standing in line since 6am.

Since we had a meeting uptown, and then had to grab lunch, we didn’t managed to make it to the store untill 3 pm. We thought at least that meant that all the fuzz was over. Kate Moss had left – and people have no money to shop for anyway these days – right? But what we didn’t keep in mind is that one thing that unemployed new yorkers have a lot of right now is T I M E. The line just went on and on and on…

It’s always amazing to see how cultivated new yorkers are when they stand in line. There’s no pushing or yelling. People are just so used to killing time in lines. They read, send text messages, small talk – or just hang patiently. In Norway things would be pretty different…

Tues Was very slow @ marquee in the beginning I dont know it seemed as though the dj was trying to put us to sleep and then it got good in the end as he played more hype music. My favourite dj for marquee is on Sat Dj Serebe.. a good mix of hiphop and house..he is the dj for 1oak on thursdays…baller status he has i think because its quite hard to entertain a house and hiphip crowd to integrate the two types of music together but he does it phenomenally. Tonight I hold down the owners table @ pink elephant ..the far right corner near the bathrooms its table 9 i believe …so maybe ill see some of you there tonight ha but I know I will maybe see you tomorrow…
