Some people can look cool with that uncool look, but finally I’ve learned that I can never be a real retro nerd – I will just look like a real old school nerd trying to look like a retro nerd.
Since our Swedish friend Calle looks like one of those very cool retro nerds that walks around in the wild streets of Lower East Side, we decided to give it a shot.

Celine almost looks like she could get away with it (in other words not looking like a knitting school teacher from the 70s like me…). But more like that girl that none of the guys wanted to date in those 80s high school movies, until she took her glasses of and suddenly was prom queen…

It’s not the first time someone is stealing someone else glasses. After Celine stole Kiefer’s glasses – he stole them back. What a night…
… the same night we stole the bartender’s glasses too.
If you are wondering where this story is going – the message is: not everyone can get away with stealing other people’s glasses – and not everyone can look cool in them. And that’s a good thing, because there are too many nerds in this city right now. I think retro cool is the new nerd. Whatever that is… You’ll find out soon. The revenge of the cools must be around the corner…
