Ok, we might not have third degree black belt in karate. But we sure got black belt in Champagne.

We stopped by Meatpacking District last night, and boy-oh-boy,  it certainly turned into a muggy night. Its a reason why meatpacking always is packed – the terrifically tiny slice of New York sure knows how to boogie. We went to RDV (short for rendezvous) and met our friend Jason, and the night turned into a tournament of sparkling bubbles…

1st. round started off pretty easy. Kjersti was leading the whole tournament and we all though that she was gonna steal the big prize…

Then Christian suddenly started using some sleazy tactics

2nd round got thougher. Jason tried to knock us down. Luckily, we were wearing bullet proof protection under our fur jackets.

This is not an episode of The 70′s show. Its very important that every team have their own suit to be recognized by their team players, and Jason and I were the flower power team.

3rd round : KNOCKDOWN!
Christian won the tournament with his Paris pose, and we decided to leave the Drunk District before anyone got hurt.

Next time – we’ll do this one. Watch out Meatpacking!

A good karate kid always needs to warm up to prepare for the real fight. We tested our skills and had them put through a test with Sangria’s at our second home, Yuca Bar in East Village, before we headed towards RDV.

Besides the Sangria’s, Yuca is also serving the best guacomole around. Don’t miss their great Tuesday offer, then its half price before 8pm – great for every karate kid who needs to warm up before the big fight!
