Mischa Barton, Minka Kelly, Rufus Wainwright and Kristen bell where some of the A-list stars that were scoping the new sexy styles by Miss Sixty last night.
Miss Sixty usually attracts covert celebs at NY Fashion Week – this time was no exception. Mischa Barton didn’t miss her chance to take a look at their fall collection, and the OC-star certainly looked stunning on first row. Mischa has attended all the Miss Sixty shows over the last years, and is often seen in design by Wichy Hassan.

The Italian brand known for its trend-setting clothes, Miss Sixty invokes the style and characteristics of the 80′s consisting of black leather, fancy printed thights, fur, and colorful prints inspired by the art of Roy Lichtenstein. This season, according to the notes, Co-founder and designer Wichy Hassan draw inspiration from ” the strength, vitality, and optimism” of the 80′s.

The tents at Bryant Park where packed last night with a huge crowd of hyper fashion fanatics and paparazzies waiting impatient for the big parade, but it was not only the clothes they were eagerly trying to spot. The celebrities were posing in the first row and managed to steal a lot of attention from paparazzies and other guests during yesterday’s show.

The economic troubles seemed far away yesterday during the event. The show was carried out in a professional way with cool music, rough clothes and lots of energy. Hats, big belts and tights with print are playing a big role this season according to Hassan. Miss Sixty is known by referencing the 70s, but in this collection they recall the 80s in a new way, while staying true to the Miss Sixty brand – it was rock’n roll, sexy and romantic at the same time.

And last, but not least! The Goodiebag. Miss Sixty recently announced their continued partnership with charity water to raise awarness and fund to address global water crisis.
They gave out these nice umbrellas – each representing the gift of clean water for one person for 20 years.
I tested the umbrella in the shower after the show – and yes, it was waterproof!
