Still haven’t decided what your getting for your fashion-forwarded friends for Christmas? My solution this year is Urban Outfitters.
I love this store because they have a lot of great stuff with affordable prices and with indie-rock tunes blaring on the sound system, the stores is always packed with trendy and fascinating New Yorkers (read: a lot of cute guys with good style). No wonder I spend hours in this place hunting for guys…I mean gifts.
Urban Outfitters offer everything from clothes ( they even have vintage) and books to funny toys and funky furniture, and all their stores are decorated so stylishly and creative that I wouldn’t mind living in one of them! Thus, these creative store is my little mecca for christmas treasures this year.
Welcome to my new imaginary crib!

Trendy tights for freezing winter legs 2 for $ 20

First Aid bandages. Required in every NY purse. $ 6 Especially for clumsy girls like me…

Cassie with a black hip hat ( $28) and camera ( price ranges from $ 28 - $ 60 ) They give pics with cool effects, the downside is that you can’t upload them directly to the computer which makes it all much more complicated for the lazy ones…

Hip-granny-style dress $ 68, Green scarf $ 28, Chick ”fur”
jacket with black silk loop $ 148 and head wrap ( available in all colors) $ 10

Cute characters! How about giving your friends their first character in their name for Christmas? Cute to hang on the door: $14

This book has a lot of great tips about absolutely everything that a girl needs to know and is one of my favorites : “How to walk in high heels” by Camilla Morton. $16.95

…And the funniest one: “Porn for Women”: $12.95? I wouldn’t mind having one of those guys wrapped in under my Christmas tree…

If the financial crisis gave you major liquidity problems this year, search the sale section first; this store often cycles through clothing fast, so great items are always going on sale.
And for those who are totally bankrupt, christmas-cards is always a good crisis solutions. Don’t forget: in the bottom line it’s the thought that counts! Home-made personal poems and giftcards is super charming…
Funny and cute cards - Hello Kitty is my favorite: $7 for 20 cards with stickers.

Urban Outfitters opened their first store in 1970 and are now located 8 different places in Manhattan.
My favorite one with three floors is located in SoHo :
Address: 628 Broadway, New York ( Between Houston and Bleecker)
Opening hours: Mon-Sat: 10am-10pm; Sun: 12pm-8pm
If you don’t live in NY, but still wanna check out Urban Outfitters, try their website www.urbanoutfitters.com
Sometimes you can find exclusive items here that aren’t available in the stores. Yay! ( Persons have to be 13 or older to order, and shipping range between $12- $38)
