Few people have hit the ground harder than Mickey Rourke (52). From being the sex symbol of the 80s - he fucked his life up in every possible way.
After giving us the erotic shock of the century with the sex scenes in ”Nine 1/2 Weeks” (1986) and “Angel Heart” (1987), Rourke desided to become a professional boxer (1991). He wanted to have 16 professional fights and then fight for a world title. However, he retired after 7 bouts and never got his desired title fight. His boxing career resulted in severe facial injuries which required a number of operations to repair his damaged face. In July 1994 he was arrested by the LAPD and charged with spousal abuse.
