Most people in Manhattan are afraid to go out when it’s raining. We decided to push some boundaries and be absolutely crazy.
For us Norwegians it was kind of a shock to learn that people in Manhattan don’t go out when it’s raining. In Norway there are no such thing as bad weather - only bad clothing… So this rainy Sunday we decided to do a few things in the rain - just to prove that it is possible to have a lot of fun outside, even though it’s raining. You can:
- shop
- have a coffee break
- do some exercise
- buy a DVD
- run like hell back home
After we realized that the DVDs can not be played on my PC since it’s restricted to American products, we cried a little bit and decided to watch the interview with Britney on MTV. It was very good - and very shocking - mostly to see how much botox Madonna managed to stuff her face with. Wow! Go Britney.
Anki is the VJ for the Norwegian edition of MTV’s Headbanger’s Ball.
Now she is producing Headbanger’s Ball for Denmark and producing/presenting the Norwegian edition, and all this from New York!
