The economy is bad. Reindeers are expensive. Santa is going green!
Nick Catania and his team of 20 skateboarers have started a new tradition - and he wants YOU to be a part og it next year. The session starts on Broadway at Columbus Circle, through Times Square and Union Square, then heading East across St. Mark’s Avenue, and South down Avenue A; finishing at 2nd Street and Avenue A. This was the first year of what is to be an annual event, with the goal of becoming a holiday toy drive.
Sleigh sessions was not giving away toys this year, but are looking to reach and recruit donors of toys and services for the needy during the holiday season, and raising awareness among young skaters and Gen X’ers about the value of helping the less fortunate.
Donors: contact Nick Catania
