When Swedish artist Lykke Li threw a performance at Tribeca Grand Hotel tonight I wasn’t the only one cheering.
The artist has Americans on their knees, and just now, her music is streaming out in every US living room as a backdrop for the Victoria Secret-ads currently running on TV.
Lykke Li didn’t mind making faces in front of the camera. Here she is with me. Again …
The event at Tribeca Grand was connected to CMJ (music festival for newly established artists) and V Magazine, a hip fashion and music mag.
Then I tried to match Lykke Li’s coolness … not very successfully.
Lykke Li had to down a beer and sprint off to her next concert at Bowery Ballroom. She left me standing in a … lucky daze.
Anki is the VJ for the Norwegian edition of MTV’s Headbanger’s Ball.
Now she is producing Headbanger’s Ball for Denmark and producing/presenting the Norwegian edition, and all this from New York!
